    Donald Fowler

    Group Chief Executive

    Donald has been with the group since 2008 and was managing director of the Medico Legal business, Premex Services, until 2013.  Since then Donald has been the Global ExamWorks Group’s UK CEO with responsibility for all of ExamWorks UK’s businesses; the Premex Group, UKIM and the Kindertons Group, which joined the Group in August 2018.  Prior to joining ExamWorks Donald worked in both the legal and financial sectors, spending five years in private practice as a corporate lawyer, followed by a further eight years in the banking and private equity sectors with the Bank of Scotland / HBOS.

    Simon Margolis

    Group Chairman

    Simon qualified in Medicine from the Universities of St Andrews and Manchester, subsequently working in several hospital posts and as a General Practitioner before founding Premex in 1996.

    In 2012 Simon was appointed as Chairman of AMRO for a second term having previously held the position in 2006 when he was heavily involved in the formation of the MRO agreement which followed on from the case of Woollard v Fowler.

    Doug Laver

    Finance Director

    Doug is a Chartered Accountant who spent the early part of his career working for a number of major Insurance companies.  Doug joined Capita in 2004 and supported their rapid growth in the financial services BPO market through contract wins and acquisitions, subsequently working across much of the company’s portfolio of private and public sector businesses as Divisional Finance Director. Doug joined Premex in July 2017 as Group Finance Director.

    Peter Sleigh

    Managing Director

    Peter joined the group in 2014 following a 26 year career in Banking, most latterly as Regional Director for RBS responsible for the North of England. Since then, Peter has been Managing Director of ExamWorks Investigation Services and has overseen significant changes in the business, most notably in the introduction of innovative technology to improve service delivery. As MD for 3d Peter is responsible for 3d Rehabilitation, 3d+ and the PIP contract.

    Angela Mitchell

    3d Rehabilitation Operations Manager

    Angela started her career in Banking and Finance holding various Management roles within the industry.

    Since joining Premex in 2008 as an Operations Manager, Angela has worked across the business and has an excellent knowledge of the company.  Angela has responsibility for the day to day running of the operations within 3d Rehabilitation and is focussed on delivering exceptional customer service to meet our customer’s requirements.

  • Ian Rowlands

    Ian Rowlands

    PIP Operations Manager

    With a background as an insurance life and disability medical underwriter and claims assessor, Ian has over 25 years’ operations management experience within various insurance and assessment services industries.

    In 2007 Ian joined Premex and has held a variety of operational management roles within the company and now manages the operations within the PIP team where his extensive knowledge of claims management can be utilised.

    Caroline Russell

    General Counsel and Head of Compliance

    Caroline joined Premex in 2009 and advises the Premex Group in respect of a wide range of legal and compliance matters. Caroline is responsible for driving forward the Premex Group compliance and risk management programme, helping to ensure that the Premex ethos of continual improvement and active risk management is the forefront of the Group strategy.

    Caroline qualified as a solicitor in 2002 and spent seven years as a corporate lawyer in Manchester, initially with Brabners Chaffe Street and latterly as an associate with DLA Piper.

    Chris Wheatley

    Commercial Director

    Chris is a marketing professional, commencing his career at Adidas international AG, and progressing to Sports Marketing manager. Chris moved on to work for HBOS, heading up its medico legal division Micrah, before it was acquired by Premex in 2006.

    Having completed an MBA, specialising in relationship management and development, Chris is well placed to lead a commercial and marketing team in a highly competitive marketplace.

    Mike Dunleavy

    Sales Director

    Mike has spent the majority of the last 15 years in senior sales leadership roles in the Records Management industry, leading teams to sell BPO (business process outsourcing) solutions.  Mike also spent 2 years in that period as Sales Director for the Port of Liverpool, helping to grow volume and value of imports and exports through the port, including the Manchester Ship Canal.

    Tamsyn Haselden

    Group HR Director

    Tamsyn is a qualified HR professional (FCIPD) and Occupational Psychologist (AFBPsS) who has worked across a variety of business sectors. Starting her career with Royal Mail Group and then Reckitt Benckiser, Tamsyn is dedicated to delivering strong commercially-focused outcomes for the business. Change management and high performance are critical factors to business success and both involve bringing our people with us on the journey.
